CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: An “Innovative Package Redesign Competition” was enthusiastically organized at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication. Conducted by the Department of New Media Technology, the competition saw students creatively redesign the packaging of existing products based on parameters like creativity, originality, aesthetic appeal, brand management, and shelf impact.

Vice Chancellor Vijay Manohar Tiwari, Head of Department P. Shashikala, and Registrar Avinash Vajpayee visited and reviewed the exhibition.

Vice Chancellor Vijay Manohar Tiwari said, “Such experimental programs polish students’ talents and prepare them for the industry.” He appreciated the students and faculty members, calling the initiative inspiring for the future and expressed pride in such events.

Head of Department P. Shashikala praised the students’ original thinking and emphasized promoting more such creative events in the future. Registrar Avinash Vajpayee also appreciated the students and remarked that linking education with practical experience is the need of the hour.

In the competition, students redesigned the packaging of various consumer products, showcasing both their imagination and business acumen. The displayed designs not only had aesthetic appeal but also reflected market understanding and consumer-oriented thinking. The event was conducted by Mitesh Sharma and Abhishek Pandey. Faculty, officials, staff, and students of the department were present at the event.
