CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A two-day workshop on “Efficiency and Management Skill Development in Social Media”, jointly organized by Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCU) and Public Media Tech Foundation, concluded on Saturday at the university campus.

On the second day of the workshop, participants received expert training in content creation, reporting, fact-checking, and social media analytics.

In the first session, social media and marketing expert Ms. Manojnya Tiwari emphasized that a clear perspective and well-crafted script are essential for creating impactful content.

Following this, senior journalist Shubhi Vishwakarma shared insights into the finer aspects of ground reporting.

Special speaker Shalabh Upadhyay explained how content creation through social media can be turned into a full-time career.

Prof. Monica Verma delivered an in-depth session on the technical dimensions of social media, including content analysis, reach, engagement rate, and data analytics.

Dean of Academics, Prof. P. Shashikala, guided participants on the importance of fact-checking and the accurate dissemination of information.

During the valedictory session, former Vice-Chancellor Prof. B.K. Kuthiala remarked that social media professionals must work with integrity and responsibility.

Senior editor Pankaj Mukati elaborated on the differences between the algorithms of journalism and social media.

Addressing the gathering, Vice-Chancellor Vijay Manohar Tiwari stated that India holds tremendous opportunities in content creation, and the youth should work with a long-term vision in this domain.

The workshop was coordinated by Lokendra Singh, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Shashikala.

The event witnessed the participation of the Registrar, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and a large number of students.
