CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Prof. K.G. Suresh, Vice-Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, met with the Governor of Kerala, Arif Mohammad Khan, at Raj Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram today. Prof. Suresh, who was visiting Kerala in connection with a conference organized by the Malayalam weekly Kesari, briefed Mr. Khan about the activities and achievements of Asia’s first and India’s largest media university.
He also presented the Governor with prasad from the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Khan had addressed an online conference organized by MCU, which was chaired by the then Higher Education Minister and current Chief Minister.
Prof. Suresh informed the Governor that MCU would soon launch a joint certification program in digital media in collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi College of Communication in Kozhikode. He also invited Mr. Khan to visit Bhopal to address the faculty and students. The Governor accepted the invitation and expressed his pleasure at MCU’s decision to start the joint certification program in Kerala.
