CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : Under the directives of the Hon’ble Chief Justice, Madhya Pradesh High Court, Jabalpur; Judges and Executive Chairperson and Member Secretary of Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur; and under the guidance of Manoj Kumar Srivastava, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bhopal, as well as coordination by Suneet Agrawal, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), a five-day Mediation Training Program was organized at Palash Residency, Bhopal, for the judiciary by DLSA Bhopal.

The program was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp and floral tributes to the idol of Goddess Saraswati by Manoj Kumar Srivastava (Principal District & Sessions Judge), Neena Khare (Senior Trainer – Mediation), and Ms. Pramila Acharya (Senior Trainer – Mediation). Present at the event were Suneet Agrawal (Secretary, DLSA Bhopal), Tarunendra Pratap Singh (Municipal Magistrate), trainee judges, and B.M. Singh (District Legal Aid Officer).

In his keynote address, Mr. Srivastava emphasized that while the tradition of resolving disputes through community leaders and panchayats exists in Indian society, trained mediators are essential to ensure structured and effective mediation. He expressed confidence that the trained judges would play a vital role in realizing the vision of a dispute-free society.

Senior Master Trainers Neena Khare and Pramila Acharya shared insights into the mediation process and the crucial role judges can play in making society conflict-free through structured alternative dispute resolution.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Suneet Agrawal to all the dignitaries, senior master trainers, and participating judges. The event was coordinated by B.M. Singh, District Legal Aid Officer.
