CNN Central News and Network – ITDC India Express / ITDC News Bhopal: Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, and In-charge of Bhopal District, Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap, chaired a meeting to review preparations for the upcoming Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Abhiyan (Chief Minister’s Welfare Campaign) and Geeta Jayanti celebrations scheduled at Bhopal’s Lal Parade Ground.

Key Highlights:

  1. Launch of Welfare Campaign:
    The Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Abhiyan will begin on December 11 and culminate on Republic Day, January 26, 2025. During this period, a Jankalyan Parv will also be observed from December 11 to December 26. The campaign aims to ensure that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries.
  2. Instructions for Camps in Local Areas:
    Minister Kashyap instructed that camps be organized across all gram panchayats and urban wards. These camps will facilitate direct access to government schemes for eligible beneficiaries. He emphasized the importance of effectively reaching out to every eligible individual.
  3. Geeta Jayanti Event Preparations:
    On December 11, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will preside over a grand Geeta Jayanti celebration at Lal Parade Ground. A world record attempt will be made with 6,000 students reciting the Geeta in unison. Minister Kashyap directed officials to complete all preparations for this event within the stipulated timeline.
  4. Launch of ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ December Payment:
    During the Geeta Jayanti event, the December payment of the Ladli Behna Yojana will be transferred to the bank accounts of eligible women. This event will also mark the official inauguration of the Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Abhiyan.
  5. Execution and Coordination:
    The campaign will feature camps across all regions, ensuring beneficiaries receive the advantages of various government schemes. Ministers and officials were urged to work in coordination to ensure smooth execution at every level.
