Meeting of the Aadhaar Monitoring Committee Concludes

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Aadhaar Monitoring Committee meeting was held in the conference hall of the Collector’s Office. Present at the meeting were Sanjay Kumar Sohni, Deputy Director General of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Delhi; Ila Tiwari, CEO of the District Panchayat; the Project Officer from the Department of Women and Child Development; Mohit Manocha from India Post Payments Bank; and Lead Bank Manager Alok Chakravarti.

The meeting emphasized effective monitoring of Aadhaar enrollment centers. Additionally, instructions were given to organize special camps at schools and Anganwadi centers for the mandatory biometric updates of children aged 5 and 15. The timely completion of Aadhaar verification for beneficiaries above 18 years of age was also stressed. Important guidelines were issued regarding the training of Aadhaar operators to ensure the quality and efficiency of Aadhaar services.
