A program was organized at Barkatullah University on the occasion of Mental Health Day.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A program was organized in the Department of Psychology at Barkatullah University on the occasion of Mental Health Day, with the theme ‘Mental Health and the Workplace.’ The event began with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.K. Jain. In his address, the Vice-Chancellor highlighted the importance of mental health and a positive mindset. The event was coordinated by the department’s in-charge head, Dr. Achhe Lal, and the program was conducted by Dr. Rachna Dave.

The keynote speaker was Prof. Vijender Jain, Head of the Psychiatry Department at AIIMS, who provided technical insights on the topic. The event also featured a poster competition and an open mic competition, in which students participated enthusiastically. Prizes were distributed for the best entries. Additionally, students performed a street play on the subject of mental health. Around 60-65 students and teachers participated, contributing to the success of the event.
