CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: BMHRC has launched a Mentor-Mentee Program to address the problems faced by students studying there. Under this program, a faculty member from each department has been assigned as a mentor for every student pursuing MD, MS, DM, or MCH within that department. Separate mentors have also been assigned for nursing and paramedical college students. The program was inaugurated at BMHRC on the occasion of Guru Purnima. On this occasion, students and teachers also participated in tree planting within the institution’s campus.

Dr. Manisha Srivastava, the Acting Director of BMHRC, stated that the institute offers various PG and super-specialty courses in departments such as Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, and Neurosurgery. Additionally, courses are conducted in the Nursing and Paramedical colleges. The Mentor-Mentee Program has been initiated to provide emotional support and create a homely environment for the students enrolled in these courses. Students can discuss any problems with their mentors and receive assistance. All faculty members have also been instructed to take care of their respective students.
