CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the Seva Sankalp campaign, a beneficiary dialogue programme titled “Meri Kahani, Meri Safalta” was organised at Anganwadi Centre No. 749 in Sector Panchsheel under Project Banganga of Angan Milan Seva. At the programme, women shared stories of the benefits they received from various public welfare schemes of the government and the positive changes these schemes brought to their lives.
The main attraction of the programme was a video prepared on the experiences of beneficiary women. Six mothers shared their experiences and explained how departmental schemes helped their families and children in nutrition, health and welfare. Through these experiences, the ground-level impact and usefulness of the schemes were presented effectively.
On the occasion, mothers and children were given information in simple, conversational language about various government schemes related to nutrition, health and women’s welfare. Women were made aware of the process for availing benefits under the schemes and the facilities available, so that more eligible families could be connected with them.
Fruits and sweets were distributed to bring smiles to children’s faces and boost their enthusiasm. Women and children participated enthusiastically in the event held at the Anganwadi centre.
Public representative and Mahila Morcha members Nidhi Shrivastava, Radha Singar, Kaushalya Rajak, Jyoti Yadav and Hemlata Sahu were present at the programme. The guests welcomed Anganwadi workers and helpers with coconuts and flower garlands. Project Officer Akhilesh Chandra Chaturvedi and Supervisor Sapna Sahu were also present.
Through the programme, women were given the message that the benefits of government schemes are not limited to receiving facilities, but can also become an important step towards positive change and self-reliance in families. The success stories narrated by beneficiary women in the “Meri Kahani, Meri Safalta” programme made the event especially inspiring.
