CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News /Agencies/ Bhopal: Filled with the divine message of spiritual awakening, love, devotion and human unity, the 79th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam was held with faith and spiritual enthusiasm at the Nirankari Spiritual Complex in Samalkha, Haryana. Held under the sacred guidance of Param Revered Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji, the four-day congregation saw participation by lakhs of devotees from India and abroad, including thousands from the Bhopal Zone, who received the benefit of the Satguru’s divine darshan and sacred messages.

The central theme of this year’s Samagam was “Awakening”. On the first day, during the “Message in the Name of Humanity”, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj said true awakening comes only when a person lives with the awareness of the presence of the Almighty at every moment and adopts spirituality in life. She said Brahm Gyan is not the final stage of awakening but its beginning. Applying the teachings received from satsang in one’s conduct, living with love and humility, and staying away from ego and criticism are the true signs of spirituality.

Before the first day’s “Message in the Name of Humanity” programme, a special press conference was organised. Journalists and media representatives from across the country participated and received information about the Samagam’s spiritual philosophy, objectives and public welfare activities.

On the second day, a grand Sevadal rally was organised, in which thousands of Sevadal brothers and sisters from India and abroad participated enthusiastically. Through physical exercises, sports, cultural presentations and short plays, the spirit of discipline, cooperation and selfless service was displayed. On the occasion, the white flag, the symbol of the Mission’s peace and unity, was also hoisted. Blessing the Sevadal, Satguru Mata Ji said service is not only a responsibility but an integral part of life. A true sevadar is one who keeps Nirankar in the heart and remains ready for the welfare of humanity in every situation.

On the same day, Satguru Mata Ji explained the true form of awakening and said awareness is not limited to external alertness; consciousness is also necessary in thoughts, emotions and conduct. Earlier, Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji, through the example of a visually impaired person and a lantern, explained that adopting only an outer form is not enough; the light of Brahm Gyan, love and dedication must remain continuously awakened in life. On this occasion, the Chishti Foundation honoured Satguru Mata Ji with the Global Peace Award.

The Nirankari exhibition, equipped with modern technology and attractive presentations, remained a major centre of attraction for devotees at the Samagam. It was divided into three sections: the main exhibition, the children’s exhibition and the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (S.N.C.F.) exhibition. Through these, the Mission’s spiritual teachings, social services and works for human welfare were presented effectively.

On the third day of the Samagam, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj said in her discourses that remaining steady in the love of the Almighty in every situation is true awakening. Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji also inspired devotees, saying that where change in circumstances is possible, positive efforts should be made, and where change is not possible, the ability to accept them with ease should be developed. On this occasion, Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini had darshan of Satguru Mata Ji and received blessings. Several public representatives and dignitaries also had darshan of Satguru Mata Ji and Nirankari Rajpita Ji.

For the convenience of differently abled devotees, special arrangements were made at all entry gates for wheelchairs, accommodation, food and drinking water. Screens were also installed for easy viewing of the programmes. Under health services, eight allopathic and six homeopathic dispensaries, 15 first-aid centres, a chiropractic camp and a 120-bed temporary hospital equipped with 15 ICU facilities were set up on the premises. For emergency services, 12 ambulances of the Mission and 30 ambulances of the Haryana government were available, of which 15 were equipped with ventilators.
