CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Meta has launched its new personal AI agent, “Muse,” in the technology space. Instead of only answering questions like a standard chatbot, Muse can complete several digital tasks on behalf of the user.
According to Meta, Muse is capable of sending emails, booking travel, making online purchases, filling out forms and carrying out other tasks for users.
Muse can be connected to services such as a user’s email, calendar, payments, shopping, health and smart home platforms. For purchases, it can use Stripe’s Link system. After approval, Link can also provide a one-time virtual card to complete payments as required, keeping actual card details hidden.
Meta has developed Muse Secure VM and a separate Sentinel agent for security. User approval can be required before sensitive actions, such as sending emails or making purchases, are initiated. Users can also decide which apps and services Muse is allowed to access.
For now, Muse has been made available in the United States through iOS, Android and WhatsApp.
