CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In response to the recent Air India flight incident in Ahmedabad, Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu urged the public and media to refrain from drawing conclusions based on preliminary reports. He emphasized that it would be “immature” to comment without a thorough investigation, and stressed the importance of allowing aviation experts and regulatory authorities to complete a full assessment of the crash circumstances.
The incident, which involved a domestic Air India flight experiencing a crash landing or major technical malfunction, raised concerns about aircraft maintenance, pilot response, and airport safety protocols. While no major injuries were reported, the incident has sparked intense public and media scrutiny.
Naidu reaffirmed the government’s commitment to passenger safety and assured that a detailed inquiry is already underway by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). He called for a balanced, responsible approach to coverage and discussion, pointing out that spreading speculation can create unnecessary panic.
The minister’s remarks aim to maintain public confidence in India’s aviation sector while ensuring that accountability is determined based on factual and verified data, not assumptions.
