CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The cinematic version of the popular OTT series “Mirzapur” is gaining a strong hold among audiences. Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Divyenndu, “Mirzapur: The Movie” has delivered an impressive box-office performance in its first three days of release.
The film has earned about ₹93.75 crore net in India, while its worldwide gross collection has reached around ₹132 crore. It collected about ₹25.75 crore on the first day. On the second day, the collection rose to nearly ₹32 crore, while on the third day, Sunday, the film did business of around ₹36 crore. With this, its three-day India net collection crossed ₹93 crore.
The film saw a sharp jump on Sunday. Its third-day earning of nearly ₹36 crore brought it very close to the ₹100-crore India net club. According to The Indian Express, the three-day performance is among the biggest opening weekend collections of 2026. The film’s strong earnings are also being linked to the popularity of the “Mirzapur” franchise.
A large number of viewers reached cinemas to watch popular characters such as Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit and Munna Tripathi on the big screen.
“Mirzapur: The Movie” has moved ahead of several 2026 films, including “Dhamaal 4”, at the box office. Although comparisons and figures may vary across different trade trackers, the film has certainly established a strong position at the opening-weekend level.
The film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and the story has been written by Puneet Krishna. The cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee, among others.
The biggest question now is how well the film maintains its pace during the weekdays beginning Monday. If the momentum continues, the film could soon cross the ₹100-crore net mark in India.
