Made on a low budget, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ has maintained a strong hold, while ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ recorded a decline in earnings on the sixth day of its release.
According to reports, ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ made a strong start on its first day, earning around Rs 31 crore. Its collection stood at Rs 32 crore on the second day and rose to Rs 36 crore on the third day, helped by the weekend. The film then earned around Rs 16 crore on the fourth day and Rs 15.60 crore on the fifth day. On the sixth day, its earnings fell to Rs 6.89 crore. With this, the film’s total collection in India has reached around Rs 132.24 crore.
Meanwhile, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ has achieved surprising box office success despite its very low budget. The film is based on the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba and has been drawing audiences to theatres for a long time. According to reports, the film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in net earnings.
