CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Homegrown consumer technology brand Mivi has entered India’s smartphone market with the launch of its first smartphone, the Mivi One 5G. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 5G chipset and features a 6,000mAh battery. The smartphone comes with a 6.745-inch HD+ display featuring a 90Hz refresh rate and runs Pure Android 16. It is offered with 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM options, while all variants come with 128GB of storage. Mivi has promised software updates up to Android 18.
For photography, the Mivi One 5G features a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The handset also includes Mivi’s ClearTalk technology, designed to reduce background noise during calls.
The 6,000mAh battery supports 18W charging. The phone also carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. It will be available in Blue, Pink, Green, Burgundy and Navy Blue colour options. The Mivi One 5G is priced at ₹14,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant, ₹15,999 for 6GB+128GB and ₹16,999 for 8GB+128GB. The smartphone will be sold through Flipkart, with the first sale scheduled for October 8.
