Popular MLA of the South-West Assembly, Bhagwandas Sabnani, performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the first-floor roof of the Shri Badrinarayan Temple, managed by the Garhwali Samaj Trust, located in Ward 31, Shiv Nagar. A large gathering of Garhwali community members and distinguished citizens attended the ceremony for the construction of the roof, which is being built at a cost of 35 lakh rupees. The Garhwali community warmly welcomed MLA Sabnani with enthusiasm.
During the ceremony, Sabnani expressed pride in the Sanatan Dharma (eternal religion), which, he said, has established a unique identity worldwide by promoting love, brotherhood, and harmony. He noted that the entire world is looking towards India and is eager to adopt Indian culture, citing several global figures who have embraced and shown reverence for the faith. He assured the Garhwali community members that he would always be available to support them in any future needs.
Garhwali Samaj President Vijay Singh Negi praised MLA Sabnani, calling him a true servant of the community and a blessing for the area. The event was attended by Zone President and Ward 31 Councilor Brijula Sachan, Zone President and Councilor Aarti Raju Aneja, District Office Chief Raju Aneja, Bhagwan Singh Rajput, Garhwali Samaj Secretary Dharmendra Shah, General Secretary Virendra Singh Rawat, along with numerous Garhwali community members and local citizens.
