CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the activities being organized for Tribal Pride Year 2025, the Tribal Affairs Department operated the Tribal Pride Rath as part of the ongoing Tribal Pride Fortnight.

The Tribal Pride Rath began from the campus of the Scheduled Tribe College and Senior Hostel located at Shyamla Hills.

MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani flagged off the Tribal Pride Rath.

In his address, MLA Sabnani said that 15th November is an important day for all of us. Tribal Pride Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, the great tribal leader and freedom fighter who led a rebellion against British rule.

The objective of Tribal Pride Day is to promote and celebrate the rich cultural heritage and identity of tribal communities and to make future generations aware of their sacrifices.

On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Affairs Prashant Arya, Sudesh Bobde (Hostel Superintendent), Rohit Patel (Hostel Superintendent), and hundreds of tribal students were present.

Through the Rath, the activities organized during the Tribal Pride Fortnight and the contributions of great heroes of the tribal community are being publicized among the general public as part of an awareness campaign.
