CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, following the call of BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, a campaign is being conducted across the country to clean the statues of great leaders and immortal martyrs and offer tributes to them. As part of this campaign, BJP State General Secretary and MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani cleaned the statue of Veerangana Jhalkari Bai located in Ward 32 of the South-West Assembly Constituency and offered floral tributes.

On this occasion, Bhagwandas Sabnani said, “Under the cleanliness campaign, today I, along with my colleagues, cleaned the statue of India’s great heroine Jhalkari Bai. Veerangana Jhalkari Bai was a contemporary of Rani Lakshmi Bai and earned her place in history through her bravery, which continues to inspire women today. On the occasion of Independence Day, I pay my respects to all the brave martyrs and great personalities whose sacrifices have made us free. Our National President, Jagat Prakash Nadda, has urged all party workers to remember these heroic martyrs and leaders and offer them tributes this Independence Day.”
Residents present during the event included District Office In-Charge Raju Aneja, Zone President & Councillor Aarti Raju Aneja, Mandal President Sonu Paliwal, Pramod Porghantawal, Vikas Gautam, Ashish Negi, Veena Sindhu, Ankit Joshi, Sandeep Tomar, along with residents of Tapti and Betwa Apartments.
