CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhagwandas Sabanani, State General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the popular MLA of the South-West Assembly constituency, performed the Bhoomi Pujan (groundbreaking ceremony) for the construction of an Anganwadi Center in Balbir Nagar, Ward 30, which will be built at a cost of ₹10 lakh.
This Anganwadi will be developed under the Anganwadi Transformation Project as a prototype model center. It will feature modern facilities such as a Parent Corner, Doctor Corner, Feeding Corner, Play Zone, Nutrition Garden, Handwash Unit, Refrigerator, Television, children’s furniture, mosquito nets, and more. The center will also incorporate water harvesting and QR codes for information sharing, representing an innovative approach.
Once completed, the center will offer enhanced facilities and ensure greater safety for children. MLA Sabanani highlighted that the BJP government prioritizes both public convenience and safety. He emphasized that today’s young children are the nation builders of tomorrow. Addressing parents, he assured that the Anganwadi would provide an enriching learning environment beneficial for their children’s education and development.

During the event, Ladli Laxmi certificates were also distributed. On this occasion, MLA Sabanani planted a tree under the “Tree for Mother” campaign, and urged everyone to participate in tree plantation during the monsoon season.
The event was attended by officials from the Women and Child Development Corporation, Municipal Corporation officials and staff, and senior BJP leaders including Mahesh Joshi, Mandal President Priyesh Upadhyay, Chandrabhan Yadav, Radheshyam Prajapati, Ramsakha Tiwari, Liladhar Awale, Vinod Prajapati, Mahesh Joshi, Umesh Yadav, Narendra Prajapati, Brijendra Rajput, Dinesh Dubey, and numerous local residents.
