CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Continuous development works are being carried out in the South-West Assembly Constituency. Popular MLA Bhagwandas Sabanani performed the bhoomi pujan (foundation stone laying ceremony) for various development works worth ₹1.47 crore in Ward 47. On this occasion, Mayor Malti Rai and local Councillor Girja Rajesh Khatik were specially present.

Development works in the South-West Assembly Constituency are being implemented at a rapid pace. Under the Panchsheel Nagar area of Ward 47, development projects worth ₹1.47 crore will be undertaken in several localities, including Durga Nagar and Jai Bhim Nagar, such as construction of CC roads and drainage systems, CC road construction on the main road, and beautification works near the Sant Ravidas Temple, along with other development activities.

Addressing the gathering during the bhoomi pujan, MLA Sabanani stated that development works are being carried out continuously in the area and there is no shortage of funds for development projects. He said that Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Yadav has provided additional funds, ushering in a wave of development across the constituency. Several major development schemes are also underway in the South-West Assembly Constituency, which will give the area a distinct identity and expand public amenities. He assured citizens that there would be no shortage in the expansion of civic facilities and overall development of the region.

On the occasion, Mandal President Priyesh Upadhyay, former Councillor Rajesh Khatik, Pawan Jain, Ganga Ram Kushwaha, Ashok Jain, Raju Kamle, Mahendra Goru, Santosh Nandmehar, Ismail Khan, Leela Kishan, Prakash Makhija, Mahesh Prajapati, Jain Samaj President Santosh Jain, Kundan Ahirwar (Samaj President), Shobha Ram Ginnate (Prajapati Samaj), Radhe Siyam and Narendra Prajapati, Dhirendra Kaboolshi from the Bengali community, along with other prominent citizens of the area, were present.
