CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Rang Panchami was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the city, as people joyfully applied colors to one another and danced in the festive spirit. MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani of the South-West Assembly organized a Holi Milan (Holi Gathering) event on the occasion of Rang Panchami.

The program witnessed a large turnout of assembly workers, local leaders, dignitaries, and citizens from across the city, who greeted the MLA and joined in the festivities with colors, gulal, and water sprays. At Bharat Mata Chowraha, MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani began the celebration by performing an Aarti of Lord Krishna and applying gulal, marking the official start of the event. Following this, workers applied colors to their leader, wished him, and together enjoyed the festival with excitement, joy, and energy.

On this occasion, MLA Sabnani extended his greetings for Holi, Rang Panchami, and International Women’s Day. He said that the festivals of Holi and Rang Panchami are celebrated with enthusiasm and joy, reminding us of unity and harmony, strengthening national integration. He conveyed his best wishes to all city residents and citizens of India for the festivals.

He also acknowledged the importance of women’s empowerment on International Women’s Day, noting that numerous initiatives by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav have enhanced women’s confidence, enabling them to excel in every field and bring pride to the nation.

During the Holi Milan ceremony, a large number of South-West Assembly workers and prominent citizens joined MLA Sabnani in playing with colors and gulal, while everyone enjoyed refreshments, including thandai and communal meals.
