CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, South-West Assembly constituency MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani participated in various cleanliness and environment programmes organised in the area under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’.

At the start of the campaign, MLA Sabnani reached Government Naveen Girls Higher Secondary School in Tulsi Nagar, where he carried out a cleanliness drive on the campus and planted saplings under the ‘One Tree in Mother’s Name’ campaign. Thereafter, MLA Sabnani reached the well-known New Market area and took part in the cleanliness campaign. He cleaned the market premises as well as the courtyard of the Hanuman temple located in New Market. During the programme, he appealed to local traders to keep the market clean on a continuous basis and to make it a plastic-free market.


Those mainly present in the campaign included Assembly in-charge Raju Aneja, Mayor-in-Council member R.K. Singh Baghel, zone chairperson and councillor Aarti Raju Aneja, zone chairperson and councillor Brijula Sachan, alderman Pramod Polghantalwal, Scheduled Caste Morcha district president Dinesh Bharti, district co-treasurer Asha Paroche, mandal president Sonu Paliwal, Beena Sindhu, Shailendra Nigam, Rahul Negi, New Market Traders Association president Satish Gangrade, vice-president Ajay Devnani and secretary Vardani, along with a large number of traders and local citizens.
