CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: The MLA Trophy 2026 South West Assembly tennis ball night cricket tournament, organised by Navprayas Cultural and Social Development Committee, concluded with colourful programmes.

In the final, chief guest MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani, Pradesh Mantri and Rajya Sabha candidate Rajnish Agrawal, and Supreme Court advocate Sanket Gupta distributed prizes to the winning teams.

A large number of sports-loving spectators from the area attended the nine-day tournament. Free coupons were distributed every day and gifts were given to 21 spectators. In the final match, 50 spectators received gifts, including a mega prize of a double-door refrigerator.

Addressing the public, MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani said the huge turnout had proved how enthusiastic people are about sports. He said, "I welcome all the players, spectators and guests present here."

He congratulated the committee members and all the workers who assisted in the event, saying they had organised a beautiful and unforgettable tournament.

The tennis ball night cricket tournament concluded with R Pari Eleven winning the title and a grand prize distribution ceremony.

The knockout semifinal and final matches witnessed a fierce contest between bat and ball, with R Pari Eleven asserting its dominance to lift the trophy.

At the grand prize distribution ceremony held after the final, players who delivered outstanding performances were honoured.

Man of the Series: Vikas Yadav of R. Pari Arun Eleven was named Man of the Series for his excellent all-round performance throughout the tournament and was awarded Rs 11,000 in cash.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Award: Shiva of Buchke Construction was honoured with the 'Vaibhav Suryavanshi Award' for his special performance and was presented a 43-inch LED TV.

Best Batsman: Piyush of Buchke Construction was named the tournament's best batsman and received Rs 5,100.

Best Bowler: Arvind of R. Pari Arun Eleven was adjudged best bowler for his impressive bowling and was given prize money of Rs 5,100.

Best Fielder: Dharmendra Shah of Rajesh Eleven was named best fielder for his agility and catching on the field and received Rs 5,100.

In the final, R Pari Eleven defeated Buchke Construction by six runs to win the title. The 10-over (T-10) grand final between the two teams saw a close contest. Batting first, R Pari Eleven posted a challenging 103/9 in 10 overs. Chasing the target of 104, Buchke Construction fought till the end but could score only 97 for the loss of six wickets, falling just six runs short of the title.

Match hero Arvind Ajju smashed an unbeaten 25 off just 10 balls in the final overs, including four towering sixes. He also took two crucial wickets with figures of 2.0-0-23-2 and won the Player of the Match award in the final.
