CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Regional Science Centre, Bhopal (a unit of Ra.Vi.S.P.) has been working for years to bring science closer to every individual. Science becomes truly meaningful only when it reaches all sections of society and can be easily understood by people of all ages. With this objective, the Centre organizes the Mobile Science Exhibition (MSE).

The most distinctive feature of the MSE is that it is a “Science on Wheels” — a moving exhibition bus featuring engaging and interactive demonstrations related to science and technology. The exhibition includes science demonstration shows and science film shows, providing students not just with the opportunity to observe, but also to experimentally understand and learn.

The mobile exhibition bus, themed “How Do Things Work?”, will soon depart for Devas district. This initiative is conducted under the joint auspices of the State Education Centre, Bhopal, and the School Education Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. During the year 2025-26, the bus will tour the districts of Devas, Ujjain, and Ratlam. Through this exhibition, students and young people will get the chance to explore the science behind everyday objects—for example, how a four-stroke engine works, how a vehicle clutch operates, or how a mixer-grinder grinds, with the entire mechanism explained in an interesting and simple manner.

This initiative aims to take science beyond classroom walls and bring it to villages and communities, inspiring the next generation to adopt a scientific perspective.
