CNN Central News and Network–ITDC India ePress / ITDC News Bhopal: To strengthen the organization at the grassroots level, a meeting of the state-level committee formed by State Congress President Jitu Patwari was convened at the State Congress Headquarters. The purpose of the committee is to prepare a framework to set agendas for meetings, protests, demonstrations, and movements aimed at exposing the anti-people policies of the BJP government at the center and in the state. Various issues were discussed, and strategies for upcoming organizational plans were formulated during the meeting.
The meeting was attended by committee chairperson Rajendra Kumar Singh, MPCC treasurer and Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Singh, former minister and media department chairperson Mukesh Nayak, former ministers N.P. Prajapati and Sajjan Singh Verma, MPCC vice presidents Mahendra Joshi and Rajeev Singh, former MLA Shailendra Patel, general secretaries Sanjay Kamle, Gaurav Raghuvanshi, and Mrinal Pant.
Post-Meeting Address by Mukesh Nayak:
After finalizing the strategy, Mukesh Nayak addressed the media alongside Rajendra Singh and Ashok Singh. He highlighted the agenda and key points for the upcoming two-day working committee meeting, which will involve special and permanent invitees and discussions on the new state executive committee.
Nayak stated that after the reorganization of the MP Congress Committee, the direction of the Congress will involve aligning newly appointed officials with ground activities. They will be assigned responsibilities for districts, blocks, and assemblies, with a plan to include new members. Officials will be tasked with strengthening the organization’s network and working with full force.
District and block Congress presidents were advised to adhere to a three-year tenure. Primary units, such as ward, panchayat, and booth committees, will focus on selecting suitable individuals for their roles.
Formation of Mohalla Congress Committees:
The organization will form Mohalla Congress Committees, which will consist of a catalyst worker responsible for covering groups of 35–40 households. These workers will regularly engage with people to share Congress’s policies, ideas, and initiatives, ensuring strong grassroots connectivity.
