More than 1000 people are eating food every day in AIIMS’ Annakshetra.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: More than 1000 people eat food every day in Annakshetra of MS Bhopal. Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, Professor Ajay Singh visited this granary and saw the services available here. The relatives of the patients who come for treatment in the hospital eat food in Annakshetra all three times in the morning, afternoon and evening.  This food is being provided to the family members of the patient continuously for the last 6 years.

Professor Singh himself distributed food to these people and also checked the quality of the food. Expressing happiness, he said that this Annakshetra being run by Karuna Dham in AIIMS Bhopal is a big step in the service of humanity. He said that merely treating the patient is not enough but the patient, his family members And by making his family emotionally strong we can build a strong nation. In this Annakshetra situated in the AIIMS Bhopal campus, not only do people get food, but arrangements are also made here for the stay of people who come here for treatment from far-flung areas.
