CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The results of the examination for admission to Class 6 in the special residential schools run by the Tribal Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh were declared on Wednesday. More than 650 tribal children studying in the service cottages operated by the ‘Parivaar’ organization in 16 districts of Madhya Pradesh have been selected in these examination results.

These children will stay and continue their studies in Eklavya Schools, Girls’ Education Complexes, and Model Schools in these districts. The Parivaar organization specially prepared these children for this entrance exam and assisted them and their parents from application to the examination process. The organization has begun collecting the necessary documents for admission to the respective schools and ensuring their enrollment. Earlier, in the results of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya examination announced at the end of March, 42 children were also selected through the organization.

Notably, Parivaar (www.parivaar.org) is a social service organization founded in 2003 by Vinayak Lohani, an IIT-IIM alumnus. The organization undertakes various activities in the fields of education, nutrition, and health in different districts of Madhya Pradesh. Through service cottages in 709 villages across the state, the organization provides free quality education and nutritious meals to more than 50,000 children. Additionally, Parivaar operates 95 free ambulances in 24 districts, 17 free mobile medical clinics in 8 districts, and conducts free eye surgeries through eye camps.
