CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In Bhopal, in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, a historic MoU was signed between the Government of Madhya Pradesh and Spain’s Fira Barcelona International. Under this agreement, an international-level convention center will be established in the state. This center will not only promote innovation, technology, and smart urban solutions but will also serve as an international platform for global conferences, business events, and investor meetings.
During the program, Spain’s Ambassador Juan Antonio March Pujol, CEO of Fira Barcelona International Richard Zapatero, and India Representative Mukesh Arora were present. A detailed discussion was also held between Chief Minister Yadav and Ambassador Pujol. The Chief Minister said that this MoU will strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s global identity and position the state as a new destination for investment, business, and tourism.
Dr. Yadav highlighted that Madhya Pradesh’s geographical location makes it a hub for industrial and economic development. Along with Indore and Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior are also being developed as metropolitan regions. He said that by adopting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s model of “heritage preservation with development,” the state is moving toward sustainable and inclusive growth.
Ambassador Pujol of Spain said that India and Spain will together achieve new heights in leadership and management. This partnership will provide a new direction to cultural and business relations between the two countries.
