CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In the All India General Assembly of Sanskar Bharati held in Jaipur, it was decided to expand the organization’s reach and make changes to its organizational structure and various fields of work. A press conference regarding this was held today at the Yogendra Auditorium of Sanskar Bharati in Bhopal.
Addressing the journalists, National Coordinator of the Folk Art Department, Niranjan Panda, explained that Sanskar Bharati is expanding its work into new areas to connect the younger generation with Indian culture and values. Director Panda shared that Sanskar Bharati will now establish committees at the central, provincial, and district levels within its organization.
He mentioned that previously, the organization worked in eight disciplines, but now nearly 45 disciplines will be divided into five departments. Separate teams will be formed for each department, organizing programs for different disciplines at the state, district, and tehsil levels. Director Panda noted that it was decided in the All India General Assembly meeting that a new membership system for volunteers would be introduced starting in April 2025.
He added that Bharat Muni Remembrance Day, Nataraja Worship, and the celebration of Bharat Mata Puja on January 26 would be observed. National Coordinator Panda explained that all programs organized under the Sanskar Bharati banner will include elements of family enlightenment, social harmony, environmental protection, a lifestyle based on indigenous values, and a sense of civic duty. Additionally, training will be provided to artists from various fields to refine their skills. He mentioned that Sanskar Bharati, in collaboration with universities and educational institutions across the state, will offer a platform for young talent.
According to National Folk Art Coordinator Panda, the original copy of the Indian Constitution, which includes 22 illustrations representing the country’s culture, values, history, and ideals, had been removed over the past few years. However, new copies of the Constitution with these illustrations are now being published. Present at the press conference were Bhopal District Sanskar Bharati President Aruna Sharma, Executive President Prakash Galgale, and General Secretary Neerav Pradhan.
