CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The people of Bhopal are soon set to receive another gift, thanks to the efforts of MP Alok Sharma, as flight services to Kolkata will commence next month. MP Alok Sharma met with Union Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu in Delhi, requesting the initiation of flights from Bhopal to Kolkata. The minister accepted the request and assured that the service will begin in November. Additionally, flight services from Bhopal to Pune will also start next month, with bookings opening soon.

MP Sharma also discussed the possibility of launching flight services from Bhopal to other cities like Lucknow, Chandigarh, Goa, and Rewa. He expressed his gratitude to the Union Minister for the Pune flight service.

Preparations are also underway to start international flights from Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Airport along with the new domestic services. From October 1, the airport will operate 24/7.
