CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: The 13th National Ice Stock Sports Competition concluded at Himadri Ice Rink in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, where Madhya Pradesh players delivered an impressive performance, winning a total of seven medals, including one gold and six silver. Shabana Khan of Betul was the coach of the Madhya Pradesh team.
In the team event, Bhopal's Izraul Ali, Krish Thakur and Garvita Sahu, along with Anayja Khan of Betul, won the silver medal.
In the men's Individual Target event, Bhopal's Izraul Ali won the gold medal, bringing pride to the state. In the women's Individual Target event, Betul's Anayja Khan secured the silver medal. In the Individual Long Distance event, Bhopal's Garvita Sahu won the silver medal.
Neha Malviya of Sarni-Betul also delivered an excellent performance in the senior women's category.
Anupam Chouksey, President of Ice Stock Madhya Pradesh and Chancellor of JNCT Professional University, congratulated all the players and said that Ice Stock Madhya Pradesh players are consistently performing excellently and enhancing the state's pride at the national level. He said the players' hard work, discipline and dedication are the biggest hallmarks of their success. He added that this achievement is a source of inspiration for the younger generation and that Madhya Pradesh will reach new heights in Ice Stock in the coming time.
All the winning players were also congratulated by Anupam Chouksey, President, Ice Stock Madhya Pradesh and Chancellor, JNCT Professional University; Abrar Ahmed Sheikh, Director, Ice Stock Madhya Pradesh; and Pankaj Kumar Jain, Secretary, Ice Stock Madhya Pradesh and Sports Director, LNCT.
