CNN Central News & Network – ITDC India E-Press / ITDC News Bhopal: The much-anticipated second season of the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) began with a grand jersey launch event held in Gwalior. On this occasion, a T-shirt featuring the AISECT Group logo was also unveiled. The chief guests at the event were MPL Chairman Maharaj Aryaman Scindia, GDCA President Prashant Mehta, and MPL CEO & Convenor Ravi Patankar. Representing AISECT Group, Manoj Tripathi, Vikas Awasthi, and Vijay Pratap were specially present. The tournament will kick off on June 12 at the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Shankarpur.
Three talented students from RNTU have been selected for MPL due to their outstanding performances. In the men’s category, B.P.E.S. student Prarbdh Mishra will debut with the Gwalior Cheetahs, and M.P.E.S. student Akhil Nigote Yadav will play for the Indore Pink Panthers. In the women’s category, B.P.E.S. student Sanskriti Gupta, who has been a part of the Mumbai Indians Women IPL team, will represent Bhopal Wolves in the MPL. This marks the first time that a Women’s Cricket League has been included in MPL, with three teams participating.
The jersey launch ceremony witnessed the presence of sports enthusiasts, team officials, and dignitaries from across the state, who cheered on the players enthusiastically.
On this achievement, AISECT Group Chairman and RNTU Chancellor Santosh Choubey, AISECT Executive Vice President and SGSU Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi, and RNTU Pro-Chancellor Aditi Chaturvedi Vats congratulated the players and extended their best wishes for a bright future.
