CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The International Regional Hindi Conference, organized by the High Commission of India in Singapore and the Center for Language Studies, National University of Singapore, concluded with a grand ceremony. On this occasion, Director Santosh Choubey, Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University and Director of Vishwarang, was honored with the ‘World Hindi Summit Award 2024’ for his significant contributions to the global promotion of the Hindi language, literature, culture, and arts.
The international award was presented to Director Santosh Choubey in Singapore by India’s High Commissioner Shilpak Ambule, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs of India Ravi Jaiswal, Secretary-General of the World Hindi Secretariat in Mauritius Madhuri Ramdhari, Vice-President of the Central Hindi Institute Surendra Dubey, and President of Sangam Singapore Sandhya Singh. On this occasion, Director Santosh Choubey presented the guests with the book ‘Vishwa Mein Hindi’ and publications from the Vishwarang event held in Mauritius.
It is noteworthy that the international regional conference, held under the theme ‘Innovative Directions for Hindi Development in Southeast Asia,’ featured creative discussions on topics such as ‘Modern Methods of Hindi Teaching,’ ‘Application of Hindi Grammar in Language Teaching and Teaching Materials,’ ‘Teacher Training and Renewal,’ ‘The State and Prospects of Hindi Teaching in Neighboring Countries,’ ‘Challenges and Problems Faced by Students in Learning Hindi,’ ‘Artificial Intelligence – Opportunities and Challenges,’ ‘Use of AI in Hindi Teaching,’ ‘Web-based Resources,’ ‘Diaspora Literature – Future Directions,’ ‘Cooperation Among Asian Hindi Institutions,’ ‘Interlingual Translation,’ and ‘Heritage Language, Foreign Language, Second Language Acquisition.’
