CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: After a decent start, Mona Singh, Sharvari, and Abhay Verma’s horror-comedy film Munjya has maintained an upward streak at the box office, making the most of its first weekend. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film minted Rs 7.75 crore on Sunday, bringing its total domestic collection to Rs 19 crore.

The film began its box office journey by earning Rs 4 crore on Friday. It showed a whopping 81.25 percent increase in its collection on Saturday, raking in Rs 7.25 crore. Continuing its sensational run, the film saw a slight increase in its collection on Sunday with Rs 7.75 crore.

Mona Singh and Sharvari’s horror-comedy film has been a surprise package since day one of its release. The film has even surpassed Mr and Mrs Mahi in box office collections. While the Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao film minted Rs 16.85 crore in its first three days, Munjya raked in Rs 19 crore within the same time frame. It also performed better than Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan,which earned Rs 9.8 crore in the same time period.
