The first glimpse of ‘King100’, the 100th film of his career, has been released. The film is being directed by Tamil filmmaker R. A. Karthik and is being made under the banner of Annapurna Studios.

The glimpse presents Nagarjuna in a powerful, big-screen avatar. His character is seen moving ahead amid money, identity and struggle. The story has been presented as a rags-to-riches journey, with family and political elements also included.

Actress Tabu will also be seen in an important role in ‘King100’. The pairing of Nagarjuna and Tabu has earlier been liked by audiences in films such as ‘Ninne Pelladatha’. Their return together after a long time has further increased curiosity around the film.

The film’s music is being composed by National Award-winning music director Devi Sri Prasad. Nagarjuna and DSP have previously worked together on films such as ‘Manmadhudu’, ‘Mass’ and ‘King’.

The makers have also announced the release date of ‘King100’. The film will be released in theatres on 24 December 2026. Notably, Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘King’ is also planned for release on the same date, which could set up a box-office contest between the two films during Christmas.
