CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Published by Tagore Kala Kendra, Tagore School of Fine Arts and Performing Arts, and Scope Global Skills University, the monograph “Nainsukh” has been honored with the First Prize in the prestigious Coffee Table Book category by the Federation of Indian Publishers, New Delhi. This significant volume is an outstanding work under the Tagore Series Monographs.

So far, this series has also published monographs on renowned painters of India — A. Ramachandran, Afzal, Bireshwar Bhattacharya, Sudhir Patwardhan, and Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. The entire series has been curated by senior painter and noted art critic Ashok Bhowmick.

On this occasion, the award was received by Dr. Arjun Kumar Singh, Head of the Department, Tagore School of Fine Arts and Performing Arts. Expressing his delight, he said, “Nainsukh, the extraordinary painter of the Guler miniature style, has created an indelible mark in Indian art history through his subtle vision and the excellence of his miniature paintings.
