CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Madhya Region Power Distribution Company has made an online facility available for electric consumers in 16 districts under the Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Gwalior, and Chambal divisions to change the name on their electric connection through the company’s Saral Sanyojan portal. It has now become very easy for consumers to change the name on existing connections in their premises.
The Madhya Region Power Distribution Company stated that consumers wishing to change the name related to their meters can do so by visiting the company’s website at https://portal.mpcz.in/web/ under LT Services in the LT Other Services section, or directly at https://saralsanyojan.mpcz.in:8888/home via the “Apply for Other Services” link provided.
The company reported that it has received 124 online applications for name changes so far, of which 105 consumers have successfully completed the online process to change the name on their electric connections. The company emphasized that during the online application for name change, electric consumers must provide their IVRS number, relevant Samgra ID, PAN card, and upload necessary documents, followed by entering the OTP received on their linked mobile number to pay the prescribed fee of ₹170. After submitting the online application, consumers can check the status of their application using the application number or mobile number.
