CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the state government’s ‘Nashe Se Hai Doori Zaroori 2.0’ campaign, a public awareness rath was jointly flagged off from the Collectorate premises in Rajgarh by Bhopal Divisional Commissioner Karmveer Sharma, IG Rural Ruchi Vardhan Singh and Collector Dr. Girish Kumar Mishra.

The public awareness rath will travel through various urban and rural areas of the district to inform citizens, especially the youth, about the harmful effects of addiction and inspire them to adopt a drug-free and healthy lifestyle. The objective of the campaign is to increase awareness in society against substance abuse, provide a positive direction to young people and accelerate the creation of a drug-free society through public participation.

On the occasion, Divisional Commissioner Sharma said that building a drug-free society is possible not through government efforts alone, but through public cooperation and collective participation. He appealed to all citizens to spread awareness against addiction and keep young people away from this social evil.

IG Rural Singh urged the youth to stay away from addiction and work towards building a bright future. Collector Dr. Mishra said extensive public awareness activities would be conducted across the district under the campaign so that the message of de-addiction reaches every section of society effectively.
