CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A National Cyber Security Awareness Month program was organized at the Bhopal campus of Central Sanskrit University. The program was held under the patronage of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University, Prof. Pron. Srinivas Varkhedi.

The chief guest, Sunil Kumar Dubey, Station House Officer of Katara Hills, emphasized the importance of cybersecurity, covering key points such as data security, financial security, reputation protection, national security, identification of cyber threats like malware, phishing, data breaches, and cyber attacks. He also provided guidance on protecting personal, business, and government data, adhering to security protocols, using strong passwords, secure websites, software updates, antivirus software, and firewalls. He answered questions and addressed students’ queries during the session.

Cybersecurity expert Ashish Gaur from Bagsewania, Bhopal, was a special speaker and provided detailed insights on critical topics, including Cyber Security Dial 1930.

The program was presided over by Campus Director Subodh Sharma, and attended by Associate Directors Prof. Govind Pandey, Prof. Somnath Sahu, Prof. Ashok Kumar Kachwah, Dr. Naresh Pandey, along with all faculty members and students.

Under the guidance of program coordinator Somnath Sahu and the support of committee members Sumit Saxena, Safina Ansari, and Dr. Nirupama Singhdev, the workshop was successfully conducted. Rahul Sharma offered the vote of thanks, and the program concluded with the national anthem.
