CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress / Bhopal: A special lecture on ‘Western Media on India: Issues and Solutions’ was organized at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication. The lecture was presided over by the Department of Media Management at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium. Prof. Dr. K.G. Suresh, Vice Chancellor of the Organizing Weekly was the chief guest and Prafulla Ketkar, editor of Organizer Weekly was the keynote speaker. Registrar and Head of Department Media Management Prof. Dr. Avinash Bajpai was specially present. On this occasion, a newspaper brought out by the Department of Media Management and Department of Journalism was also released.
In the lecture organized at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium in Makhanpuram, Vice-Chancellor Suresh said that foreign media has consistently shown India as poor and helpless.
