CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The National Mathematics Week 2024 was inaugurated at RKDF College of Technology, Bhopal, under Bhabha University. The event featured distinguished guest Dr. S.S. Srivastava from the Institute for Excellence in Higher Education, Bhopal, who provided insightful knowledge on ancient Indian mathematics and the contributions of Ramanujan.

The program began with a ceremonial lamp lighting. Dr. Ashok Kumar Jhala, the event coordinator, introduced the week-long activities. Following this, Dr. Dilip Kumar Dey, Vice-Chancellor of Bhabha University, highlighted the impact of Ramanujan on mathematics. Dr. Manoj Kumar Shukla, Group Director, discussed the contributions of various scientists to the field of mathematics. Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. N.K. Agrawal extended his best wishes to the students.

The vote of thanks was delivered by co-coordinator Dr. Rajneesh Gedam. On this occasion, Registrar Dr. Shyam Patkar, department heads, faculty members, and students were present.
