CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of the Eighth Naturopathy Day, Sant Hirdaram College of Naturopathy and Yoga Science for Women organized a special session. The event was attended by Dr. Manoj Johnson, Medical Director of Johnmerian Wellness Group (Karnataka), and Dr. Praveen Jacob, Naturopathy Clinician and Researcher (Kerala), as chief guests and subject experts, along with the college director Hero Gyanchandani, all faculty members, and students.

The program began with lamp lighting and floral tribute. Delivering the welcome address and introducing the guests, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Ankesh Singh explained that the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, declared November 18 as National Naturopathy Day in 2018. On the same day in 1948, the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, was appointed lifelong president of the All India Nature Cure Foundation Trust. The main objective of this observance is to promote drug-free naturopathy.

During the program, the subject experts guided the students on gut health and diabetes treatment through naturopathy, answering their questions and clarifying doubts.

Prior to this event, various competitions were held in the college as part of Naturopathy Week, including Reel Making, Tattoo Making, Treasure Hunt, and Naturopathy Fest. Participating students and winners were awarded for their contributions.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Saraswati Tevani, Professor.

On this occasion, the students of the college also organized a Naturopathy Awareness Rally in Sant Nagar. The day was filled with enthusiasm and served as an engaging and informative experience for all participants.
