Bhabha University, Bhopal, celebrated National Science Day 2025 through a three-day program, sponsored by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology and the National Council of Science & Technology Institute, New Delhi. This year’s theme was “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for India.” The objective of the event was to honor scientific achievements like the Raman Effect and inspire innovation among students.

Key Highlights of the Three-Day Event:

🔬 Day 1:

Director Devendra Prakash Tiwari, a Limca Book Awardee, demonstrated how to create useful scientific models using scrap materials, guiding students to foster an innovative mindset.

🎨 Day 2:

Students created various posters to showcase India’s progress in science and technology.

A Science Quiz Competition was organized, encouraging scientific curiosity among students.

📢 Day 3:

Dr. Rashmi Singhai, Head of the Chemistry Department, Regional Institute of Education, delivered a keynote lecture on increasing students’ interest in science and the crucial role of youth in India’s development.

Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dilip Kumar Dey, presided over the event.

Program Coordinator Shyam Patkar provided a detailed overview of the event structure.

Deputy Coordinator Mukesh Pandey distributed certificates to participating students.

Shailesh Raghuvanshi successfully conducted the event, which saw participation from around 250 students.
