CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The closing ceremony of the program organized at Bhabha University, Bhopal, on the occasion of National Science Day was successfully held. The event was organized courtesy of the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology. This year’s theme was “Women in Science: Catalysts of Developed India.”

The first phase of the program was held on February 27, with the keynote lecture delivered by Vijay Kumar Agrawal, former Director and current Vice-Chancellor of RKDF University, on the topic “Women in Science: Catalysts of Developed India.” The session took place in the R. N. Kapoor Auditorium and was attended by approximately 300 students. Also present were the University Vice-Chancellor Dilip Kumar De, Pro-Vice-Chancellors N. K. Agrawal and Bharti Satankar, Group Director Manoj Kumar Shukla, National Science Day Coordinator Shyam Patkar, all Deans, Principals, Department Heads, faculty members, and press-media representatives.

The second phase of the program featured a poster competition and model exhibition held in the university auditorium. Students actively participated, presenting their scientific ideas through posters and models. Outstanding participants were selected by the judging committee.

The third and concluding phase of the program was highlighted by a motivational address from the keynote speaker Alpana Trivedi of Prime Minister’s College of Excellence, Hamidia College, Bhopal. She emphasized the role of women’s empowerment and shared several inspiring examples of women’s contributions to building a developed India.

During the closing ceremony, certificates were awarded to the winners of the competitions. In the poster competition, M. Pratyush and Ashutosh Srivastava from the Dental Department, along with Riddhi Tandon, Anisha Kumari, Mansi Jha, and Harshita Kevat from the Nursing Department, were honored. In the model exhibition, Vidya from the Faculty of Education, along with Amarjeet Kaur and Akash Kumar from the Dental Department, were recognized for outstanding performance.

Thus, the three-day National Science Day program at Bhabha University concluded successfully, marked by enthusiasm and active student participation.
