CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A special lecture on the topic “No More Pakistan” was organized at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal. The program was held at the university’s Swami Vivekananda Auditorium and was hosted by the National Security Forum, with the aim of promoting informed discussion on the security challenges facing India and the regional geopolitical scenario.

The chief guest, Golok Bihari Rai, member of the National Steering Committee, highlighted the evolving dimensions of national security in his address. He emphasized the critical need for citizens, especially the youth, to understand security-related issues, regional tensions, and factors influencing India’s strategic stability. He also stressed the importance of responsible dialogue, balanced media reporting, and a vigilant civil society.

The distinguished guest, Vikramaditya Singh, National General Secretary of the organization, addressed the students, stating that discussions on national security awareness in academic institutions are extremely important. He highlighted the vital role of young journalists and media students in presenting national issues with sensitivity and responsibility, shaping public opinion and national discourse.

The lecture was presided over by S.K. Raut, IPS (Retd.), President of FANS Bhopal Chapter, who noted that such seminars aim to develop students’ understanding of national security issues so that they can comprehend contemporary challenges and contribute constructively in the interest of the nation. The university’s Chancellor, Shri Vijay Manohar Tiwari, was also present at the program.

Students and faculty members from various university departments participated enthusiastically. During the interactive session, students posed several questions related to media responsibility, youth participation in national issues, and India’s future regional policies, which were discussed in detail by the speakers.
