CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Online Application and Nomination Process Begins for National Teachers’ Awards 2025
The Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India has officially launched the online application and nomination process for the National Teachers’ Awards 2025 in the state.
In this regard, the Directorate of Public Instruction has issued guidelines to all District Collectors and District Education Officers.
Application and Nomination Process
Applications and nominations can be submitted on the official portal:

Deadline for nominations: July 13, 2025
Documents and audio-video content must be uploaded by: July 15, 2025
Selection Process
District-Level Selection Committee:
Formed under the chairmanship of the District Education Officer (DEO). The committee will include the Principal of DIET and a renowned educationist nominated by the District Collector. This committee will perform the first-level screening of applications.
State-Level Selection Committee:
Headed by the Secretary of the School Education Department, the committee will include a Central Government representative, the Director of SCERT, and the Commissioner of Public Instruction.
This committee will recommend a maximum of 6 teachers on the central government’s portal between July 26 and August 4, 2025.
