Rabindranath Tagore University enthusiastically celebrated National Technology Day under the joint aegis of the Institution Innovation Council Cell and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The primary objective of this event was to encourage students to develop technical skills, innovation, and creativity.
The program was inaugurated by Registrar Sangeeta Johri and Vice Principal Vinay Yadav. In their address, they emphasized the importance of technological awareness, innovation, and problem-solving skills for students. Events like these provide students with opportunities to gain practical technical knowledge, develop collaborative working styles, and enhance leadership qualities. Rabindranath Tagore University has always prioritized holistic development of students in the fields of education, technology, and innovation—this celebration was a significant step in that direction.
As part of the event, three major competitions under the theme “Spark Genius” were organized:
Brain Byte Battle
Tech Canvas
Tech Trek
These competitions offered students a powerful platform to showcase their technical aptitude and innovative capabilities.
The competitions were judged by Basanti Mathew (HOD, Commerce) and Neeta Ghangarkar.
In the Brain Byte Battle, Ankesh Kumar secured the first position, Diksha Gautam the second, and Rajneesh Kumar the third.
In Tech Canvas, Asmita secured first, Anjali Kumari second, and Devanshi third.
In the Tech Trek team competition, Team Tech Warriors took the first position, Team The Golden Warriors came second, and Team Map Masters stood third.
