CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Grand Inauguration of Three-Day National Workshop at Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal

A three-day national workshop was grandly inaugurated at Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal, organized jointly with Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, New Delhi. The central theme of the workshop is “Character Building and Holistic Personality Development.” The aim is to facilitate in-depth discussions on the reinstatement of moral values and balanced personality development among students, teachers, and society through the Panchakosha-based education system.

Atul Kothari, National Secretary of Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, served as the chief guest and keynote speaker. In his impactful address, he stated that in the era of rapid technological advancement, the need for character building has become even more essential. He emphasized that education should not only be a means of acquiring knowledge but also a medium of cultivating values. He called the Panchakosha development model, included in the National Education Policy 2020, a revolutionary change in the education system.

The program was chaired by the Chancellor of the university, Santosh Choubey, who stated that the purpose of education should be to create value-driven citizens with self-awareness, empathy, and leadership. He stressed the importance of mother-tongue-based education and highlighted initiatives like Vishwarang and the International Hindi Center as global carriers of Indian language and culture.

On the first day of the workshop, Director Manohar Bhandari shared deep insights on the Annamaya Kosha, while Director Dinesh Dave presented a thoughtful discussion on the Manomaya Kosha and character building. The session was conducted by Amitabh Saxena.

On this occasion, three significant books were launched:

“Vishwa Mein Hindi” by Jawahar Karnavat

“Parampara Aur Aadhunikta” by Santosh Choubey

“Solah Sanskar Aur Reetiyan” by Vinita Choubey

Additionally, the poster for the International Hindi Olympiad was also unveiled.
