CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the 29th National Youth Festival and the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue held at the Banquet Hall of Lok Bhavan, Governor Mangubhai Patel met and addressed the youth participants selected from Madhya Pradesh for the event in New Delhi. On this occasion, Governor Patel extended his best wishes to the participants for outstanding performance at the national level. The event was also graced by the presence of Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare, Vishwas Kailash Sarang.
During the program, Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang welcomed Governor Mangubhai Patel by presenting a bouquet and a memento. The Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Mr. Rakesh Gupta, delivered the welcome address.
“Youth Play a Decisive Role in Building a Developed India” – Governor Mangubhai Patel
Governor Patel urged the youth to draw inspiration from Swami Vivekananda’s life philosophy and make nation-building their primary goal. He emphasized that the participants are going to a national platform where they will have the direct opportunity to share their ideas with the country’s top leadership. He encouraged the youth to perform to the best of their abilities, representing Madhya Pradesh with pride at the national level.
He further highlighted that “Developed India @2047” is a visionary and comprehensive plan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the responsibility of realizing this vision rests on the shoulders of the youth. This vision not only outlines national development in economic, social, and cultural spheres but also aims to elevate the standard of living of every citizen.
Governor Patel added that India’s youth possess immense energy and limitless potential, making them the true architects of a developed India. The selected participants from Madhya Pradesh are talented, aware, and capable representatives who have the honor of presenting their ideas directly to the Prime Minister, a matter of pride not just for the youth but for the entire state.
“Active Youth Participation Will Drive Nation-Building” – Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang
Minister Sarang stated that the Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue in New Delhi, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, provides youth with the opportunity to actively participate in nation-building. He extended his best wishes to all Madhya Pradesh participants selected for the national competition and wished them a bright future.
He further emphasized that the state government is continuously working to nurture the talent of youth and provide them with national and international platforms, and such programs serve as a powerful medium to connect youth ideas with policymaking.
Youth Share Their Vision of “Developed India”
During the program, selected participants Adhya Jain and Somesh shared their ideas, highlighting the role of youth in achieving Developed India @2047. They emphasized that the platform provides not only an opportunity to present their thoughts to national leadership but also a strong medium to engage youth in policymaking and nation-building. They expressed gratitude to the state government and the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare and reaffirmed their commitment to bringing national recognition to Madhya Pradesh.
Madhya Pradesh Youth to Present Ideas to the Prime Minister
The selected youth participants from Madhya Pradesh will attend the Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from 10–12 January 2026, where they will present their innovative ideas, suggestions, and vision directly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This platform will provide them with a direct role in nation-building and active participation in the Developed India @2047 initiative. Madhya Pradesh youth will effectively represent the state’s talent, thought leadership, and capabilities at this national stage.
