CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: An advanced agricultural training camp was organised in Barabanki with the aim of increasing farmers’ incomes and making agriculture more profitable. During the programme, agricultural scientists and experts informed farmers about modern farming techniques, crop management and methods of natural farming.

During the camp, farmers were trained on important subjects related to soil testing, water conservation, the use of organic manure, crop diversification and pest management. Experts said that balanced use of modern technology and natural resources can help increase production while also reducing costs.

Farmers were also provided information about various government schemes, subsidy facilities available on agricultural equipment and market-related issues. They interacted directly with experts, shared their problems and received information about possible solutions.

The organisers said such training programmes play an important role in connecting farmers with new technologies and making farming more sustainable and profitable. A large number of farmers participated in the camp and expressed their willingness to adopt new agricultural practices.
